This graph represents Historical Ratings for major MMA Promotion Organizations.

Promotion Ratings for each year are based on the Events that were delivered in that year.

More events with a lot of high ranked fighters creates bigger rating for that year.

• It is obvious that UFC is the top MMA Organization last several years.
• Also many will agree that Pride had the best events in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
• Year 2006 was a close call. Pride did have better events that year, but UFC had much more (18 UFC vs. 10 Pride events).
• Many people believe that UFC was the best promotion in the 90s, but in fact that was Pancrase.
  

For 2009 scores are not final (we still have 4 months) and that is why it looks like all scores are going down.
