Ranking of MMA Countries is based on the quantity and quality of fighters from those countries.
Country Score is calculated using different measures that can be grouped into 3 groups:
- Quantity Measures
- Top Fighters Scores (Quality of best fighters)
- Stacked Index (combine quantity and quality incremental sums)
That grouping gives us the following high level formula:
Country Score = Quantity + Top Fighters + Stacked Index
Here is the Country Ranking from the 6th to 18th:
All fighters are associated with at least one country.
When a fighter is associated with two countries, points that fighter carries are split between those two countries.

maxCS – maximum Current Score (fighter with the highest Current Score)
minRkCtg, minRkP4P – best ranked fighter in weight Category and P4P
cntFtr – count of all ranked fighters (active in the last 3 years)
FtrActv1yr – number of fighters that fought in the last 365 days
Sum1yW – number of Wins in the last 500 days
rnk1Ctg – number of fighters ranked #1 in any weight category
rnk5Ctg – number of fighters ranked in top 5 in any weight category
top1000p4p - number of fighters ranked in top 1000 P4P
